The UW-Madison Writer’s Institute is holding its 29th annual writer’s conference on April 12-15, 2018 at the Madison Concourse Hotel.  It’s billed as the Midwest’s top conference for writers.  There will be some distinguished speakers, a number of literary agents and many fellow authors there, in Downtown Madison.  It is an ideal event to learn more about the writing craft through workshops as well as a great route to learning how to get published.  There will be opportunities to talk to literay agents at the conference, as well.  To learn more and to register go to uwwritersinstitute.wisc.edu.  If you’re a local writer or an aspiring one, then don’t miss this.  Several fellow authors are encouraging me to find an agent or a publisher for my latest book: A Transformative Quest Through Hope.  I think that this venue could be quite conducive for accomplishing that.
